Enjoy a remarkable 8-day safari experience in Tanzania, which is ideally timed to align with the Great Migration, which takes place between July and October. Enjoy a comfortable stay at the Springlands Hotel after being greeted warmly at Kilimanjaro International or Arusha Airport. Discover Tarangire National Park, which is well-known for its amazing fauna, which includes a large number of elephants and the recognizable baobab trees.

Travel to the Northern Serengeti via Ngorongoro, where you’ll see a variety of wildlife and participate in a night game drive at Ikoma Wild Camp. Witness the dramatic Great Migration on the Mara River before returning to Ikoma for a sundowner. A full-day game drive allows you to explore the Serengeti’s beautiful landscapes and wildlife. Visit the Ngorongoro Crater for incredible game viewing, followed by a visit to Lake Manyara National Park, which is famous for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife.

The Great Migration is a yearly event in the Serengeti National Park and Masai Mara in Kenya, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles migrate in a clockwise pattern. It’s the largest migration of land mammals in the world.

01 Kilimanjaro International Airport

When you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, our dedicated driver will greet you with a sign bearing your name, ready to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome. From there, you'll have a smooth and comfortable ride to the enchanting Springlands Hotel.

Later, our experienced safari coordinators will conduct a pre-safari briefing, providing an exciting preview of the wonders that await you. Relax and unwind in the tranquil setting of Springlands Hotel, which includes a swimming pool, a lovely garden, a bar, and a restaurant.

02 Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you'll drive to Tarangire National Park, which is well-known for its incredible game viewing opportunities, particularly during the dry season when hundreds of animals gather. The park's diverse landscape includes grassy savannahs, swamps, hills, and the iconic baobab trees. Elephants abound, along with zebras, buffalo, lions, and oryxes in search of water. The park is home to numerous bird species, as well as the Tarangire River, which serves as a vital water source during the dry season. After a day of wildlife exploration, return to the Highview Hotel or another similar accommodation for the night.

03 The Northern Serengeti

After breakfast, you'll head to the Northern Serengeti, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a game drive along the way, where you may see giraffes, zebras, and elephants as you pass through this diverse landscape. In the afternoon, continue north to explore the Serengeti's breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife, which includes lions, cheetahs, and buffalo. Arrive at Ikoma Wild Camp in the late afternoon for a one-of-a-kind night game drive, which allows you to see the Serengeti's nocturnal wildlife, including hyenas, owls, and lions, from a different perspective.

04 Mara River sundowner experience At Ikoma

After breakfast, you will travel to the Mara River in the Northern Serengeti to witness the dramatic Great Migration. This is one of the most spectacular wildlife events, with large herds of wildebeest and zebra crossing the river in search of new grazing grounds. As you explore this iconic location, you may come across crocodiles and various bird species. After a day of migration viewing, return to Ikoma Wild Camp. In the evening, enjoy a memorable sundowner experience at the camp, where you can unwind with a drink while admiring the breathtaking views of the Serengeti sunset.

05 Full Day Serengeti

Following breakfast, you will embark on a full-day game drive through the central Serengeti. The Serengeti's diverse landscapes, which range from open savannahs to dense woodlands, provide a safe haven for the "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros), as well as cheetahs, giraffes, hyenas, and a plethora of bird species. Your safari will reveal captivating scenes of predator-prey interactions, heartwarming family dynamics, and peaceful coexistence of wildlife in their natural environment. Prepare for an unforgettable adventure as you immerse yourself in the Serengeti's timeless beauty and wildlife wonders.

06 Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you'll take a drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world's most spectacular wildlife reserves. As you descend into the crater, prepare for an unforgettable day of game viewing, where you may see leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and various antelope species, as well as smaller mammals that inhabit this unique ecosystem. The crater's diverse habitats support an incredible variety of wildlife, making each turn a potential surprise. After a full day of exploring, you'll return to the Highview Hotel for an overnight stay to relax and reflect on your adventures.

07 Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This diverse ecosystem supports a wide range of mammals, birds, and other wildlife species. Manyara is well-known for its rare tree-climbing lions and provides excellent game viewing opportunities, with buffalo, impala, giraffe, bushbuck, waterbuck, hippos, and elephants frequently seen near the lake. Keep an eye out for blue monkeys, vervet monkeys, and active olive baboon troops. Lake Manyara is a birdwatcher's paradise, with large flocks of flamingos, circling birds of prey, and the vibrant lilac-breasted roller. In the afternoon, you'll drive back to Moshi.

08 Deparure Day

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This diverse ecosystem supports a wide range of mammals, birds, and other wildlife species. Manyara is well-known for its rare tree-climbing lions and provides excellent game viewing opportunities, with buffalo, impala, giraffe, bushbuck, waterbuck, hippos, and elephants frequently seen near the lake.
